This year marks a special milestone—50 years of serving our community with trusted insurance guidance and relationships that span generations. Our story began in 1976, when Tom Tasset Sr. opened Tasset Insurance in Cheviot. Built on integrity, hard work, and a genuine commitment to people, Tom Sr. laid a foundation that continues to shape who we are today. His vision and character established more than just a business—they created a legacy of service that has endured through decades of growth and change.
Over the years, that legacy expanded through key partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions, including the formation of the Heister-Tasset Agency in 1995 and the evolution into HTT Agency. Each chapter brought new opportunities, strengthened our capabilities, and deepened our roots in the community.

A strong foundation continues to be built.
In 2002, Tom Tasset Jr. carried the torch forward, continuing to build on the strong foundation his father established. Under his leadership, the agency grew, adapted, and ultimately transitioned into Safari Insurance in 2020—reflecting both continuity and forward momentum. Today, we celebrate not only our past, but also an exciting new chapter. In 2024, Christina Gyarmati acquired Safari Insurance, helping ensure the continuation of our mission with fresh energy and vision for the future.
As we honor 50 years, we are especially grateful for Tom Tasset Sr., whose courage to begin this journey made everything possible. We also thank the many employees, partners, and clients who have been part of our story along the way. Here’s to the next 50 years—built on legacy, guided by relationships, and focused on serving generations to come.
